Remedy Clinic is a monthly free clinic to serve the needs of the low income and homeless population in downtown Portland. Role of a volunteer RN includes equipment checks, greeting and screening patients (vital signs, health history, medications, depression/substance abuse/domestic violence screenings, blood glucose levels, current health concerns etc), collaborating with other RNs, MDs, and other volunteers to ensure a safe and secure environment for those we serve, and proper disease prevention methods.
