Engineering Designer – I am currently working as a designer on electrical and mechanical aspects of several different housing authorities, schools and public buildings from concept to completion. My most recent projects include electrical upgrades to a 66 unit housing complex for a local housing authority, mechanical and electrical work in conjunction with a separate architectural office for the refitting of a university school building into their new administration offices, upgrades to a elderly housing complex community room and assisted in the design of a new heating system in a Stratford dormitory. Working with the clients and contractors, I answered questions directly related to the project. As well, as handle the construction administration for the jobs I have taken lead on. Currently I also have experience on Cost Needs Assessment reports. I have strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2008, and Microstation Intergraph 8.0 and previous versions.

While working as a designer/draftsmen at edm I worked on, electrical, mechanical, and architectural aspects of restaurant, industrial, retail & office buildings from concept to completion. The majority of work was for Friendly’s restaurants and 7-11 stores. Responsibilities included working in conjunction with the engineers, clients and contractors. I have answered questions during construction as well as do field inspections. The projects I worked on included but was not limited to the following: producing prototype drawings for the restaurant chain Friendly’s, as well as modifying them to suit several locations that have been built, Working on upgrades and new projects with the Connecticut Department of Public Works, and assisted in the design of the plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems of several banks in Connecticut. One of my other responsibilities also included the design of a new cad standard and the creation of Autocad block library. Utilizing AutoCAD 2008, and Microstation Intergraph 8.0.

East Hartford, Ct

Developed structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and architectural contract documents for industrial, retail and office buildings. Projects included, but were not limited to the following; The Hampton Inn and suites chain, Mototown USA, and several office building in the Windsor Locks area. Provided support to the engineer, clients and contractors. Utilized AutoCAD 2000, 2002, 2004. Also provided occasional hand drawings.

Greater Boston Area

Developed structural and civil contract documents for bridge and tunnel projects and provided site mapping drawings. Utilizing AutoCAD 13&14 and Microstation Intergraph 5.0. Provided field experience working on site and surveying.
