Simon Vogl is the founder of VoXel Interaction Design, a solution provider for sensor-based systems and interactive applications. He has profound knowledge on systems design, sensor/actuator systems, embedded systems, creative design processes and research methods.He has worked in academic reseearch, Research Studios Austria in 2005 after spending several years as assistant at the University of Linz, Austria, where he finished his doctoral research implementing a framework that enables interaction in public areas using large, projected interfaces. His interests and experience spans several areas, be it embedded, networked systems, operating system programming, alternative user interfaces and concepts for realizing a pervasive computing landscape.
