I am a Strategy Manager at ČEZ Group, one of the largest companies in the Czech Republic. For 7 years I have helped ČEZ to set a corporate business strategy, analyze new prospective markets and new business opportunities – mainly in the telco business and within the field of energy transition.I have got the opportunity to lead various strategy projects and M&A transactions that involved close cooperation with leading investment banks, private equity funds, external advisors and other team and project members.My role is to cover and manage the strategic and financial part of the projects and transactions with responsibility for a strategy fit, structuring the transactions, valuation of the targets and new business opportunities and their successful incorporation.The role combines strategic, analytical and managerial aspects and that is – beside the non-repetitive and challenging tasks – what I like the most about my role.My free-time passion is travelling – especially travelling to nature. I managed to visit more than 60 countries so far and hopefully there will be a chance to add some more. I have found inner peace during the time spent in nature which is absolutely necessary for me to „recharge batteries“. Beside that I love sports and areas of healthy lifestyle and personal growth. One of my goals for the upcoming months and years is to find possibilities on how to help individuals or companies in those areas (even as a volunteer or on a part-time basis).
