A public safety officer’s duty is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests, providing assistance in waterpark activities. As an officer, it is my responsibility to patrol assigned areas and provide emergency services (or find someone else who can) when the need arises.

I accepted this temporary position to fill my summer while the Borough had awaited the recovery of one of their full-time employees. While my time at the Stroudsburg Borough was limited, the knowledge I gained while in this position was vast. As a Parking Enforcement officer, I patrolled controlled parking areas and monitored parking meters, issuing citations on improperly or illegally parked vehicles. There are also times when I was required to call for towing services, assess suspicious vehicles and scan their plates, and testify in courts, as necessary. Moreover, as a parking enforcement officer, I maintained records of all issued tickets and responded to concerns professionally.
