Maxpoint provides digital advertising solutions for some of the largest consumer brands and retailers in US. It was acquired by Valassis Digital in 2017.At Maxpoint, I led the design and development of location-based marketing intelligence products. Applications include measurement of ROI for marketing campaigns and audience insights. Used machine learning techniques on billions of anonymized user location data records. I also developed algorithms to optimize direct response marketing campaigns in real-time bidding (RTB) environment using users’ web-browsing history, content consumption, demographics and location data. I am a named inventor on 5 commercialized data science patents filed by Maxpoint/Valassis.

Worked as expert consultant for venture-backed startups on algorithm development, data engineering, and analytics product strategy.Representative projects:Client: Compass Labs (Acquired by Yahoo!). Developed analytic models to understand the drivers of user behavior on digital media. Applied machine learning algorithms to develop bid and budget optimization strategies and attribution models for maximizing the online advertising ROI, lifetime customer value, and business impact. Automated analytical processes and model execution.Client: BlackArrow (Acquired by Cross Media Works):Led the design and implementation of forecasting framework to predict ad inventory for a video-on-demand advertiser. The analytic solution included simulation of complex ad-decision logic, handling large machine-generated log datasets, and integration of several database and analytic components.

Worked as expert consultant to federal, state and non-profit organizations in developing policy. I provided quantitative, mathematical modeling, simulation and research support.
