• Mentor and monitor a team of 30 technicians. • Responsible for Co-ordinating with OT, ITU and ward in charge for their sterile consumable products.• Conducting regular sterility check along with sterilization monitoring process.• Responsible for routine maintenance check and daily inspection of steam sterilizer, Ethylene oxide sterilizer, Washer disinfector and Ultra sonic cleaner in according with manufacturer recommendation and preventive maintenance procedures.• Co-ordination with engineering department to ensure quality steam, water and electricity supply.• In charge of cssd linen, maintaining inventory and purchase of quality linen.• Over seeing all records maintenance for the dept.• CSSD records meet legal requirements and are done according to EHL standards and JCIA requirements. • Conduct regular audits, identify & report incidents and medico-legal risks and take corrective and/or preventative action where necessary. • To establish and implement a comprehensive quality assurance system for the central sterile supplies department (CSSD).• Involved in training new aspiring candidates for ONE YEAR CERTIFICATE COURSE in CSSD as well.• Responsible for training and recruitment of technicians in co-ordination with HR department.• Vendor management and co-ordination with purchase department for purchase of quality products.• In charge of surgical instruments and maintaining inventory. • Ensuring purchase of quality instruments at reasonable cost.• Manufacturing of floor cleaning, floor disinfecting, liquid soap and Hand Sanitize (Hand rub).
