Professional Profile SummaryI have more than 30 years of civil/site, landscape architectural and architectural design experience. My projects have ranged from simple 2D drafting to complex 3D design and drafting of architectural, landscape architectural and civil engineering.     Valentine Hill Farm is a peri-urban farm operating under ecologically sustainable chemical-free cultivation practices. I have been able to develop a sound method of producing local produce and fruits without chemical intervention that exceeds the National Organic Program guidelines for organically grown foods. The farm supports 25 small families through three season CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) memberships as well as farm products to three local farmers markets. The use of high tunnel structures allow the production of seasonal crops earlier in the spring and later into the fall. The goal is to have a portion of the field provide a full 12 month growing cycle. The heart of the farm, soils some of the best agricultural sandy loam in the state, has been dramatically improved over the past 10 years through sound soil conservation management and organic content building. Resulting in better tasting higher quality produce and fruit. My status in the profession has been recognized, for the past five years I have been a contributing editor and peer reviewer for the Journal of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Community Development.
