As a Mechanical Designer, it is my responsibility to ensure that the needs to the customer and/or project align with the form, fit, and function (FFF) of the design. I grew from an entry-level designer - learning the basics day-to-day functions and deliverables – to a lead designer responsible for the top to bottom product design.May 13, 2019 – Present: I am an employed Woodward Member (aka employee), working back in the Industrial Division. I have several projects and an excellent team that enables me to be successful everyday.

I perform inspections, calibrations, and fatigue tests for AE Solar Energy Solaron Inverters 250NX, 333NX, 500NX to ensure proper assembly, calibration, and unit is “ready to ship” to customer. Anyproduct issues I will investigate independently, and refer to Engineering as needed. When a solution is formulated and implemented - which range from re-establishing wiring connections to replacement of faulty mechanical and/or electronic equipment - I will communicate the issues and remedies to other Test Technicians, Test Engineering, and Quality Engineering. Faulty parts are returned to Material Handlers with proper documentation, as needed.This position require knowledge of electronic circuitry, reading schematics, use of conventional and proprietary test equipment, proper handling of chemicals and ESD sensitive equipment/materials, and navigation of inventory control system (SAP). I also need to understand the experience of the assembly line technicians and engineers, as they are instrumental in rapidly implementing solutions.

I am liaison between AT&T Wireless and National Retail Locations - Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Car Toys, Sam's Club, etc. I visit these locations, sale side-by-side with employees, providing assistance, sales training, and troubleshooting while maintaining a positive relationship with location’s staff and management. Peroidically, I perform "classroom" training for large groups of national retail emloyees on AT&T products, services, advantages, and sales tactics.
