Working as a specialist environmental engineer, with focus on quantitative and qualitative analysis, to assess the impacts and develop monitoring and management systems for a wide range of industrial and development projects; including oil and gas, mining, hydropower, irrigation networks, wind power, and processing industrial units such as textiles, leather, paper and pulp. Using IFC Performance Standards (IFC-PS), Equator Principles (EP) and ISO 9001, work with public and private sector clients to develop and prepare:- Cumulative Impact Assessment (CIA)- Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)- Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS)- Environmental Management Plans (EMP)- Water Stewardship Plan (WSP)- Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)- Computer aided models to analyze physical environmental aspects such as, water quality, air quality, noise, hydrology and hydraulics, and Environmental Flows (EFlows) (for hydropower projects).

Provide operational inputs to coordinate projects on water stewardship and water security.Liaison with public/private sector stakeholders for partnerships.Review baseline data and reports for water policy advocacy.Support knowledge management.Provide strategy inputs for current and future project development, including strategy on technical and financial aspects.

My work at WWF - Pakistan is based with Water and Climate Change Division. Key job responsibilities include the following:1) Managing development and implementation of Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) standard to drive best water management practice across industrial and agriculture sector. My work focuses on delivering advisory service to corporate clients with respect to AWS implementation strategy, within priority industrial sectors such as Food and Beverage Industry, Leather and Tanneries and priority agriculture sector which includes cotton and dairy.2) Develop and strategize projects and programs under Food, Water and Energy (FEW) systems; assess each projects financial feasibility; develop and propose budgets to donors and other funding organizations; and coordinate with teams within WWF to develop action plans for project delivery.3) Development of AWS Standard as a business decision tool for sustainable business growth.4) Liaise with government departments at national and provincial levels on sustainable growth and development issues.5) Liaise with International Donor/ Multilateral agencies.

Worked with Professor Wendong Tao at SUNY ESF to develop cost models for ammonium sulfate producing technology using Life Cycle Costing Analysis (LCCA).This project was funded $75k grant by United States Environmental Protection Agency under P3 award for its sustainable design and proposalThis project was later published by International Water Association (IWA) in the journal of Water Practice and Technology.
