Responsibilities include the direction, leadership, and implementation of programs, center policies, and day-to-day operation of the Senior Fitness Center. Responsible for the following: screening potential members, conducting fitness assessments and new member orientations, providing guidance and instruction of individually designed exercise programs to members, continually monitoring participants health status and exercise progress throughout the program (limiting participation within established guidelines); overseeing fitness staff and student intern experiences; training fitness volunteer/monitors.
