Understanding UL and CSA requirements and appropriate Material Selection for individual parts.Conduct design review to improve product performance and resolve technical issues by performing required Engineering Calculations. Design and development of different cost saving proposals (VA/VE). Providing Product Specifications (Preparation of detailed Drawing of individual parts and assembly). Model preparation for CAE analysis, Reviewing CAE load cases & understanding results for taking corrective action & implementation.Finalizing Development BOM.Coordination for prototypes (Like rapid prototyping, investment casting, etc.) Knowledge in GD&T, stack up analysis, different industrial standards like ANSI, JIS, DIN etc Providing functional requirement to product by Stress/ Strain Analysis. Optimization of product design based on Manufacturing Feasibility review with CFT. Data management using Wind-chill (PLM). To provide support to tool design and CAM for trouble free solution. Close coordination with customers and supplier. Field and testing failure investigation, and developing action plan for addressing failure. Knowledge in engineering mechanics, strength of materials & theory of machines. A good grasp of engineering and design principles.

Coordinating Customer requirement and concept creation along with Design for Assembly, Manufacturing, & Service. Communication with customer for understand requirement, and provide proposal for customer satisfaction. Concept & 2D creation for different Assembly parts, considering tooling, fixture, function requirement, indicating key characteristics on the drawing & co-relating it with FMEA. Coordinating with Cross Functional Team (CFT), QA, Manufacturer, Service, New Product Development (NPD) etc. Model preparation for CAE analysis, Reviewing CAE load cases & understanding results for taking corrective action & implementation. Supporting proto build, IDT, ODT component level testing. Field and testing failure investigation, and developing action plan for addressing failure. Planning day to day activities, And Quality checking for executed work to ensure adherence with CEAT Standards.
