As one of the first employee of the company, played a crucial part in building the ML models and infrastructure that formed the core of our product.- Developed a complex classification models that identified multiple diseases from Chest X-rays.- Created disease localization modules that generated activation heatmaps and bounding boxes by adapting methods such as RetinaNet, Mask-RCNN.- Implemented a medical keyword extraction functionality for 200,000 radiology reports using Word2Vec style embedding technique.- Independently designed and built ML infrastructure that hosted all our 25 AI models through 9 Flask based asynchronous microservices running on Kubernetes and Spinnaker clusters, ensuring minimal downtime and prediction latencies.- As one of its first members, helped grow the company from inception to 45 client hospitals. The ML algorithms and infrastructure I developed processed AI predictions on 25,000 x-ray scans everyday.
