My career originally began in 1997 with Voyager Software, a small privately owned recruitment software business. In 2002 I took over as Managing Director and after attracting some VC investment and showing some good organic growth, it was acquired by Dillistone Group Plc (AIM: DSG) in September 2011. I remained with the group post-acquisition and was Managing Director of the Voyager Software division of Dillistone Group Plc. We progressed with our acquisition strategy and in turn acquired FCP Internet and ISV Software, both into the Voyager Software division.Our other group companies were Dillistone Systems, specialising in the Executive Search market with its FileFinder solution, and GatedTalent, offering direct services to executives. Between these companies and the aforementioned Voyager Software, FCP Internet and ISV Software, there is virtually no sector of the recruitment market that the group cannot address. At the end of 2019, the Group's strategy to create one new global brand was put into action and Ikiru People was born, still formally a subsidiary of Dillistone Group Plc. I joined the Group board as CTO as well as being a Director of Ikiru People.Since launching Ikiru People, the Group's existing product and services brands have been maintained, still specialising in their differing areas of the market.Ikiru People now works with 2,000+ clients in over 70 countries across our brands, serving and supporting them from our offices in the United Kingdom, USA, Germany and Australia.
