I am a first-generation graduate from Ranchi, a small city in India. I studied urban planning during my undergrad because the subject fascinated me. Since then, I’ve been exploring the urban system and its hidden complexities, focusing on how to make cities run efficiently and be livable for all groups of people. After working for six years with three different organizations on urban issues such as mobility, water, climate change, adaptation, and resilience, I pursued a degree in Public Policy at NUS, Singapore. Currently, I work as a policy and research manager with Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago, catalyzing change through action-based research, policy development, economic growth, and governance analysis in the clean air space.I believe in lifelong learning and the lessons we gain from the people we meet along the way. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to grab a coffee and discuss cities!
