A franchise that had rotated through several heads of DCM in the previous four years and a perennial non-player in the Asian DCM market.Directly managed client relationships and immediately brought stability and legitimacy by marketing,originating and completing complex capital market transactions in both high grade and high yield on sole bookrunner bases.Focused the efforts of the organization subsequently originating and successfully completing benchmark transactions for high profile clients completing dozens of bonds and raising billions in funds.

Responsible for the bank’s debt capital origination business encompassing the offshore bond markets; onshore bond markets in select countries; loan syndications market; and leveraged finance. Prepared budgets, coordinated client plans, set priorities, marketed clients and executed transactions. Drastically improved business metrics such as:Nearly doubling net revenue while reducing cost and increasing revenue per head by 3 times.Forging a strategic alliance with China Construction Bank in Investment Banking – Leveraging BofA’sstrategic investment in CCB by negotiating, signing, overseeing and leading a strategic cooperation between BofA and CCB for overseas debt capital raising and investment banking services.

Mandated by ABN to spearhead the creation of a new issue bond business for the Asian region. Recruited a team and developed processes and procedures for marketing and executing transactions.
