Senior Manager Information Technology (Efb/Acars/Arms)
-Responsible for overall EFB operations, including but not limited to EFB H/W, S/W, content-Responsible for H/W and S/W config management for ensuring no unauthorized S/W is installed-Ensure only valid version of application S/W and current data packages are installed on the EFB system-Responsible for accurate and reliable distribution of critical operational information to Flight Crew on Company EFBs-Ensure QA of data content prior to load and/or release for operational use-Responsible to oversee regular audits and QA checks-Establish procedures, within EFB Policy and Procedures Manual, to ensure no unauthorised changes take place-Establish procedures for the maintenance (h/w, s/w) of the EFB-Plan, organise, control and coordinate EFB Administration functions and responsibilities in an effective manner-Liaise closely and provide all relevant information to DGCA, Flight Ops, Engineering, IFS, IOC, Operations Engineering and IA on matters relating to electronic documentation on the flight deck-Review and respond to all relevant commander administration reports or EFB fault reports and provide follow up action where necessary-Responsible for applications, such ELB & EFF that require electronic signature and regulatory approval-Responsible for the effective and efficient ongoing logistic support on all e-enabled aircraft meeting company EFB requirements-Review processes and procedures regularly to ensure continuous improvements to meet the changing needs of the EFB-Manage staff and use of resources within section in an efficient and effective manner, and prepare the annual budget for the EFB-Responsible for R&D for all EFB related products, including consumer devices, aircraft communication system, avionics, etc.-Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and make recommendation to e-enablement and flight deck digital steering committees on the next generation EFB products
