I'm a CPA (non-practicing) who wound up in the real estate development business via a large national CPA firm, a large national bank, and a national real estate developer and property manager. In 2022 I rebooted that real estate development firm - essentially rebranding my company of 46 years into THE LITTLESTONE COMPANY - and we're gearing up for major growth on a national level.TLC has created an exciting business model for investment in, and development of, affordable, workforce, and 55+ housing. We work with selected non-profit and government entities and utilize fixed-income financing options where possible. With offices in the Pacific Northwest and Atlanta, we are capable of growing our platform anywhere in the U.S. HERE ARE SOME KEY EXPERIENCES:• Graduate of the #1 accounting school in the country.• PWC (then Price Waterhouse & Co.) in Chicago as a CPA (audit & taxes).• Executive V.P. and Controller of The Littlestone Company, then the Chicago-based real estate division of a NYSE company but now reformed and reenergized with new leadership and an innovative new business model.• Officer of First Wisconsin National Bank (now U.S. Bancorp) and First Wisconsin REIT.• Completed one of the most prestigious and rigorous management training programs in the U.S. at Illinois Bell (then part of the AT&T system).• Formed The Wasserman Group, Inc. (TWG) in 1977. • TWG developed thousands of multi-family units, as well as single-family homes and condominiums. Since 2000 TWG focused on low and moderate-income rental housing, specializing in bond-financed transactions as well as government-assisted properties.• In February 2022 TWG acquired The Littlestone Company, and its founder and guiding light became a board member. Littlestone has developed thousands of housing units throughout the U.S. and at one time was the second-largest property management firm in the U.S.• Currently on the Board of Directors of Neighborhood Lending Partners, a Federally designated CDFI.•
