I was working as a head designer of men's wear garments in Red Tape. I got an opportunity to travel to various countries to get an insight of international market and source garments for the brand's collection. Here I also worked closely with factories in Bangladesh and China where the garments were manufactured. Also assisted the brand management team in styling and concept inputs for the brand's shoots within the country and abroad.

I started my career in this company as a designer for two years, after which I was promoted to the post of a Head Designer for the brand's Menswear category. Mangla Group is the textile mill of the brand therefore I learnt about variety of Menswear fabrics with varied compositions. I also worked on TEXCAD to make checks and stripe designs for menswear shirts. The brand had in house manufacturing, so got an opportunity to involve in the entire process of a final garment, from pattern making to prototype and then production. I even designed garment accessories like labels and tags every season in line with the ongoing theme of the collection.
