Swati Daji is a dynamic Business Leader and Board Member who brings the strong combination of finance and operations expertise, comprehensive transformation success and business acumen as well as deep experience in procurement, risk management and governance, treasury, clean energy, mergers & acquisitions, vendor relationships and contract negotiation, strategic planning, and regulated and nonregulated business management.She is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial, Risk & Operations Officer for EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute), a nonprofit that leads collaborative energy research & development around the world spanning generation, delivery and use of electricity to help address challenges in the energy industry. She oversees Accounting, Treasury, Audit, Risk, General Counsel & Legal, Information Technology, Cyber & Physical Security and Procurement & Supply Chain.Swati’s extensive Board experience includes currently serving as a Member of the Board of Commissioners for Atrium Health (formerly Carolinas HealthCare System) and as a Member of its Finance & Risk Management, Nominating & Compensation and Quality & Care Committees. She is also Board Chair of the American Red Cross of North Carolina. Previously she has been Committee Member of the Duke Energy Investment Committee, Member of the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte Board of Directors and Member of the Charlotte Community Health Clinic Board of Directors.Previously, Swati led Enterprise strategy and planning for Duke Energy where she led the company’s strategy development in collaboration with management and works across all business units on implementation to achieve enterprise goals. She was also responsible for the enterprise view on market fundamentals, load forecasting, and very strategic long-term integrated resource and business plans. Joining the company in 1991, Daji held other leadership positions including chief procurement officer, chief risk officer and senior vice president of the fuels and system optimization, customer solutions and strategies organization. She has experience in both regulated and nonregulated businesses of the company.
