Worked with ASIC designers on 120Gbps queuing ASIC from requirement stage still deployment.This is the first VOQ architecture based ASIC designed at Juniper. Hence was a major challenge to support JunOS Qos configuration model that has traditionally been built around egress queuing architecture

Responsible for Architecture, Design and developmet of data plane software for Nevis Security Switch. Nevis Security Switch is a L4-L7 switch built on a custom Network processor designed by Nevis Networks. The Network Processor is a 24 core multi threaded processor with crypto and pattern matching engines embedded. Was involved in Mircro Architecture review of the ASIC and provided inputs on hardware requirements for different packet processing. The data plane software consists of following functionalities .Layer 2 /layer 3 switching, Firewall, IPSec , IPS, traffic anomaly, worm containment, Anti virus . Came up with Appliance architecture driven by market requirement . Involved in all stages of product development, customer deployment strategies, customer deployment troubleshooting etc

Aviram Technologies was a startup working on Bringing application awareness into Network storage. Involved in coceptualization of Idea, studied various NAS devices. Designed and developed a scheduler that introduced Application awareness in Linux NFS driver. As part of the project studied various File systems, disk schedulers

Involved in design, implementation and testing of Layer 3 router software for Cable Modem Headend Router built by Terayon Communication Systems.Involved in Design of routeArp Module, Flow control modeule and Classification Module. Designed and implemented complete L3 forwarding Microcode for both EPIF200 and EPIF4.
