As a consultant editor with Gender at Work, I translated and edited Hindi stories of domestic workers. My responsibilities included accurately translating narratives, ensuring cultural sensitivity, and editing for clarity and coherence. This work aimed to amplify the voices of domestic workers, highlighting their experiences and challenges. By contributing to this project, I supported the organization's mission to promote gender equality and social justice through storytelling.

Excited to share that I had the privilege of serving as a mentor for Haiyya's 'Haq over Stigma' initiative launched last month. This program aims to build a dynamic, intersectional network of SRHRJ (Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice) collectives, groups, and individuals from tier 2 and tier 3 cities across India. Together, we're fostering a collaborative environment to drive meaningful change and action. I am honored to represent Uttar Pradesh in the Feminist Youth Leadership program, funded by UN Women India and facilitated by Gender at Work - India. Through this initiative, I am committed to promoting gender equality and empowering young leaders to drive social change.

As a training facilitator under the GEMS program of ICRW, I trained government teachers in Jharkhand. I conducted workshops and training sessions to equip educators with the skills and knowledge needed to implement gender-equitable practices in their classrooms. This role involved developing training materials, facilitating interactive sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure the effective integration of gender equality principles into the educational system. Through this work, I contributed to fostering a more inclusive and equitable learning environment for students.

As a freelance journalist and writing skills trainer at Vishakha Organisation, I empowered young women leaders by conducting comprehensive training sessions and designing a structured curriculum to enhance their writing abilities. I mentored participants to effectively communicate their ideas and stories, fostering their confidence and leadership skills, and collaborated with the Vishakha team to ensure the curriculum aligned with the organization’s mission. This role allowed me to combine my passion for journalism with my commitment to social change, making a meaningful contribution to the development of future leaders.

Honored to be a TRD-CREA Fellow, dedicated to driving positive change in disability, mental health, gender, and sexuality. This fellowship has empowered me with skills and insights to advocate for transformative initiatives and create inclusive communities.
