ICLP Pvt Ltd was established 5 years ago evaluate the off-shoring software development and support. In last two and half years, it was seen by the group as key offshore development center for software and client support activities.Role & Responsibilities:My primary responsibility is ensuring timely and effective delivery of software services from Mumbai office. However the role is more of "operations in-charge" for India office reporting into Technical director based in UK, adding several other responsibilities such as local Infrastructure, HR, Accounts and administration.Achievements:Presently managing 12 development/support projects for 3 client divisions with the help of team of 30+ developers and 5 testing team members.

Nor-link was established in India mainly to develop and support "PeopleLink", a product for Norwegian city administration. It was a team of 15+ people. The product was developed and implemented in three communes (cities) of Norway. This was a suit of products that the communes could implement in an incremental (more "as and when needed") manner. Iota Technologies is a software consulting company in Pune. I was working with it mainly manging team for the Product development of Sixth-Sense an ERP for electronic parts manufacturing companies. I was handling a team of around 10-12 developers.Responsibilities:Major need was of making the organization more process driven than personal skills dependent and the reaction behaviors. Making the team aware of the (at-least the basic) processes, establishing and enforcing them on regular basis was the main assignment. Improvising Development practices was next. Defining "coding & design standards" and following then for each assignment. Creating externalized and extensible designs those will be key for customizable products.
