Directs and supervises the budget, administrative, control, and technical activities of plant maintenances .Ensures that maintenance team is adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.Maintains and updates operating and training manuals for the Maintenance Department.Ensures that all maintenance team members are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures.Coordinates activities with other departments within the plant.Communicates directly with the Production Department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.Participates in objective setting, plan development and performance reviews of the plant.Establishes, maintains and improves the maintenance planning and scheduling business flow process.Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the cement industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime; anticipates and solves problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.Oversees preventative and predictive maintenance program to assure equipment is properly maintained and documented.Scopes the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair/preventive/predictive/design-out activities on the organization’s plant and equipment.Includes major shutdowns schedule preparation and tasks execution follow-up and time optimization. Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.

Lead a team of engineers to improve plant performance by:Works with project engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.Professionally and systematically defines, designs, develops, monitors and refines an asset maintenance plan that includes:Value-added preventive maintenance tasks.Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems.Provides input to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operations.Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.Applies data analysis techniques that can include:Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)Failure reporting, analysis and corrective action system (FRACAS)Root cause analysis (RCA) and root cause failure analysis (RCFA)Reliability modeling and predictionStatistical process controlAbility to train other personnel on data analysis tools and techniques.Works with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering to perform analyses of assets including:Asset utilizationEquipment effectivenessRemaining useful lifeOther parameters that define operating condition, reliability, and costs of assets.Provides technical support to production maintenance and technical personnel.Applies value analysis to repair/replace, repair/design and make/buy decisions.

> Make Root Cause to analyze mechanical failures, problems and recommend appropriate actions and repairs.> Carry out plant condition monitoring, including measurement schedules to monitor plant performance.> Perform company proactive maintenance system using SAP & Others CMMS Programs according to bulletin.> Make Mechanical Inspections of the plant to detect abnormal Equipments situations.> Provide technical support to mechanical execution Engineers during repairs.> Carry out & follow up maintenance plans during shutdowns.> Technical supporter to the other company projects

Identifies and captures opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.Uses Lean Six Sigma and RCM concepts to optimize work processes, adapt maintenance tools and procedures to improve equipment utilization and reliability, and minimize service quality incidents.Keeps current with latest equipment, technologies, and maintenance methods.Promotes importance of data and service quality within maintenance community.Assists with development and coaching of junior maintenance staff.Supports Maintenance Manager and Location Manager in planning for equipment and maintenance resources and correcting existing discrepancies.Ensures application of asset management and maintenance systems data and accurate, timely data entry and reporting.Participates in technical audits and compliance assessments, and follows up on closure of remedial action plans
