This included day time and mostly night time operations to intercept, detain, and ultimately arrest those individuals who were found to be in the United States illegally. In addition, our team regularly boarded cargo ships in the port of Long Beach to verify bills of lading for accuracy and to prevent the flow of illegal and illicit shipments from entering the United States. I helped plan / implement / and execute the security plan during the Modernization of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building to ensure the safety of the contractors, vendors, building personnel, and uniformed officers while allowing construction personnel to accomplish their job with minimal disruption to building policies and procedures. In addition to representing the USSS during the Modernization of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, I served as Liaison during the Pennsylvania Avenue construction project.
