I have developed 25 years of experience in manufacturing plants. My leadership roles were in Sales & Marketing, Business Development and International Trade. The success of my leadership as department head relied on proven tracked record of managing my team and business performances in revenue, profit and loss as well as customer relationships. Among all the manufacturing and export experience, I spent 3.5 years in furniture manufacturing, 1 year in low vision industry (USA based market) and 20.5 years in plastic injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion moulding related to audio-video, automotive and stationery products.I am proud of my acquired knowledge in problem solving skill, abundance of production technicality and practicality with a good understanding in various manufacturing SOP and ISO compliance. These are my competencies on top of my postgraduate in Marketing as my major.As a self-motivated and trustworthy department head, my values are often benchmarked based on international market research in manufacturing I did over the years and key accounts I have serviced for many years. My contacts of the upstream in the supply chain have contributed to my success in accomplishing my goals. My tracked record from extensive overseas trade shows and traveling include Europe, Far East and USA. I maintain close contact with my clients who are also decision makers. We have built mutual understanding in different working cultures and result expectations. Among 20 countries I have business dealing, few important and regular tradeshows I have visited were South Africa, China (mainly Shenzhen, Guangzhou & Shanghai), Singapore, USA (California, Florida, Hawaii, Oregon, Arizona & Nevada), Egypt, Korea, Russia (Moscow), Australia (Sydney), Japan, Turkey and Germany (Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Essen, Augsburg, etc.).My team often gives credit to my leadership based on succession plan and people development. My department successes depend on my knowledge transfer and provide guidance along with empowerment and delegation of authority. I manage my department efficiency based on meritocracy.
