Devise Singapore is a start-up local business consultancy firm that specializes in helping Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to secure some capital for their business needs. I applied for the job as a part-time venture and was able to learn a wide variety of skills from this job. The work arrangement is hybrid and give me a flexible schedule with the option to work-from-home or in the office.- Reaching out to potential businesses to filter from a list of leads provided, narrowing a list of 1000 contacts to a range of 100 - 150 potential businesses for Devise's marketing agents to follow up with- Utilizing business communication skills to get the point across to businesses within 1-minute calls (elevator pitch), being as concise and direct as possible, while establishing rapport with receivers- Answering potential customers' enquiries regarding the services Devise offers and pitching to businesses the idea of the business, speaking in different languages (English, Chinese and Hokkien primarily) to cater to the receiver's language spoken- Logging results into an excel sheet in the succinct way possible for easy comprehension, as well as to notify my supervisor as soon as possible whenever there is an interested client

• Worked with the Associate Chair (Students), Assistant Chair (Outreach) and Outreach and Admissions team to coordinate the SPMS Open House and other events related to Outreach & Admissions.• Collaborated with the Senior Executive and Assistant Manager (Outreach) in handling matters pertaining to the SPMS Ambassadors Programme and Outreach, such as the SPMS Synergy Workshops and NTU Talent Outreach Initiatives.• Assisted in events conducted by the SPMS Ambassadors and coordinated with their Core Team for decision-making.• Channeled queries from prospective students and parents received by phone, email and/or social media.• Supported undergraduate outreach activities and events such as Coffee Chat with NTU Singapore, as well as physical and/or virtual talks for Junior Colleges and/or Polytechnics.• Assisted in the design, compilation and development of any outreach publicity material, such as the SPMS Undergraduate Brochure, Posters, Gifts and Electronic Direct Mailers.

• Load and unload goods in the warehouse efficiently, ensuring that customers receive their online orders quickly• Manage the warehouse inventory and tally stocks, working together with other staff to ensure that the process of picking goods is smooth through communication of tasks

Worked here over 2 time periods: April - May 2020 and September – October 2020• Render customer service aid and assistance proactively regarding general enquiries and event coupon redemption efficiently, being able to provide faster service to customers, increasing customer satisfaction• In-charge of promoting to customers the Gain City Family Card Membership, ensuring that customers are well-informed of its benefits and recruit members• Actively explain to customers about the usage of the benefits coupons and assist them in redeeming it

• Serve food, drinks and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction with service quality and create a good impression of the establishment• Communicate with other service crew team members to create a seamless and efficient process of service, serving customers quickly and accurately.
