Currently, my research primarily revolves around the fabrication of porous scaffolds for tissue engineering applications. Additionally, my academic interests extend to emulsion sciences, surface and interface studies, emulsion-based biomaterials, functional materials, PolyHIPEs, 3D porous materials, polymers, hydrogels, microfluidic devices, surfactants, plant-based bioactive compounds, microwave-assisted extraction, mechanical testing, and rheological studies. I also possess expertise in various analytical techniques, such as SEM, NMR, FTIR, LCMS, TGA, microscopy analysis, chemical analysis, and rheology, among others.In addition to my academic pursuits, I have been actively involved in supporting the education of Afghan women and girls, particularly following the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban in August 2021.
