Senior Business Analyst
Current- Develop and maintain databases, datasets, and business intelligence tools. Provide specialist "centre of excellence" advice for A&E, MIU Service, and Data Quality, supporting operational performance improvement in these areas.- Provide specialist advice and guidance for the mentioned Service Lines. Take a proactive role in identifying and developing a program of specific topics related to activity and performance within the Trust. Analyze, interpret, and comment upon the information reviewed, reporting findings and making recommendations to the Trust Chief Executive, Executive Directors, and Senior Managers.- Demonstrate the ability to understand and interpret complex sets of information, produce findings, and recommend to senior management. Be persuasive when implementing approved recommendations in the Trust.- Support operational departments in BI development, taking responsibility for developing and maintaining integrated information systems throughout the Trust. Ensure new systems meet user requirements and document all work, including specifications, maintenance, and support of existing systems. Train and support key staff in developed systems, adhering to internal timetables for BI report production.- Design, develop, and support information systems, including databases/datasets and the Presentation layer through the Microsoft BI stack & Tableau. Provide expert advice and guidance in using produced reports and data. Contribute to the development, implementation, and revision of the Trust's Information Management Strategy.- Manage projects, provide advice and guidance to junior team members, delegate work, and oversee their workload. Undertake necessary research, deputize for the Business Intelligence Manager when required, analyze business processes, make recommendations, and ensure a culture promoting Equality & Diversity. Identify and address behavior undermining Equality and Diversity in the workplace.
