Purple Gaze is building an AI platform for collecting high-quality data from the brain using eye movements.Together with CEO Kirill and his team of neuroscientists, I was glad to help the startup located at the city centre of Utrecht, with their academic research and designed product named Foxie: an easy-to use, affordable Eye Tracking system, that provides data output of the human brain using eye-movements.

This school differs a lot from other traditional education institutions. There are no pre-admission requirements, no tuition fees, no semesters, no class schedules and no classrooms. Instead there's a unique, in-depth software engineering education, with a high quality curriculum that anyone 18 years or older is welcome to first try it out for one month, during summer (the selection period), and if you pass it (the piscine trial), you get to join the community of hard working coders. Three years ago I received a 'womens only' invitation to come visit their building for an introduction about the tech world and their educational program. I loved the concept and I was convinced I should give it a try. After trying the 'piscine trial' for one month, learning C Language alongside other students trying to put the puzzle pieces together - in a communal way, I realised I had a shy/quiet geek side waiting to start exploring my engineering and problem solving skills. I absolutely loved it. Besides, I acquired not only technical skills but so many soft and social skills on the process. After a year studying, I decided to join the staff team as an assistant temporarily to help spread the word to other women. Next to that I mastered my scrum method and public speaking skills by organizing art exhibitions together with the Codam Art Curators team, my inviting local artists to showcase their modern work on the historical walls of state-of-the-art campus located on the Marineterrein in Amsterdam.

My problem solving skills comes in handy when working in fast-changing environments such as music festivals, filming sets, and publicity stunts. I have the capability and the patience to face any kind of challenge with the advantage of having a creative mindset and a positive attitude. I often had to learn on the get go, just to name a few responsibilities that were handed over to me as a 'last minute emergency task' during renowned film and music festivals: I helped out as a courier/driver, stagehand/buildup, artist handling (guidance/assistance), setting up the lounge/set layout (styling), security at accreditation desks, pre&post production of events and most interestingly, carrying out a full market research for concert venues in Amsterdam as a follow up strategy to see the impact of specific concerts after a music festival got cancelled.I'm definitively someone to be trusted when there's a job to be done with barely any time to recruit more professionals. If it's urgent, I'll reserve all my time to gather information (and the patience) necessary to acquire a new skill on the spot. If that doesn't work out I know I can rely on my broad network to find someone professional who who can help me with the projects I got hired to work on.

Once a year, in September, I get to work as multilingual assistant in the Dutch National Film Festival for the Guest Service team. Sometimes helping at the front desk when needed, other times I would head off to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to welcome the international guests and introduce them to their team and the city of Utrecht. Most of the times I help as personal assistant for the international guest speakers and film directors who were invited to participate in Masterclass sessions or happen to have a very busy schedule during the 'International Film Meeting' congress. My responsibilities were make sure that they could carry out their busy agendas and meetings, while still being able to take a break to visit attractions or to check out the screenings between appointments. My personal focus was to ensuring they would have time reserved for a break to eat and walk around the city unbothered by extended meetings and occasional fans, that I noticed would often keep these renowned guests from arriving prepared and on time for their appointments.

Working under the Promotion Partners agency as a freelancer for ShareNow. Mainly helping them with the operations of their active marketing campaign. The company did their own planning with the printed media/banners promotion and then Promotion Partners was responsible for researching and planning the active-registration campaign in Amsterdam. I helped as a freelancer with the setting-up their promo-stands, with courier tasks and I was part of their promo-team. I started as a promoter in 2016 and then got to help new team members understand how the backoffice system worked and how the registration process should be followed the obtain the best (then effective) result on the growth of the number of new clients and next to that, keeping up with a high level of client satisfaction. This means I also helped actively with branding and support services. Eventually I built enough experience to carry on as a field coach/researcher/operator.

In charge of handing out the specific 'rider' requests for the main stage dressing rooms. Also securing the space, by not allowing uncredited guests at the facilities, letting artists and their belongings be safe backstage.

The name Talent Runner stands for having to usually race after all artists that form a band to make sure all musicians are on stage on time for their strictly scheduled rehearsals and concerts.

Next to that I would carry on as their personal assistant (and in some cases as their body guard) while having to cross the festival field for interviews and stunts (press and publicity).

They would also be allowed to ask me to be their courier in case they wanted to check out other stages for performances and events their are interested.

I was mostly busy filming everything with my Canon and GoPro but helped teams with some feedback as well (giving them some foreigner/Brazilian perspective on their projects).Next step is to edit all the footage and produce a follow up video and a promo video for next years, together with a special edition of the event' 5th anniversary that is to come next year.
