The Canadian Toy Association (CTA) is a not-for-profit trade association representing all businesses involved in creating and delivering toys and youth entertainment products for kids of all ages. The CTA leads the growth and health of the Canadian toy community, as the authority on toys and the benefits of play.The CTA serves as the voice of Canada’s toy industry, advocating that playing with toys is important, safe, fun and beneficial. The association works with Health Canada to provide important industry perspective during the regulatory process, and provides information to the public about The Toy Association's The Genius of Play initiative.As an active member of the global toy community, the CTA is a member in-good-standing of the International Council of Toy Industries and maintains an affiliate agreement with The Toy Association which provides enhanced value for member companies active across North America.
