Perform legal work on a variety of matters for tax exempt organizations, including applying for tax exempt status, establishing corporate governance and compliance practices, and providing advice in connection with corporate dissolution and distribution of assets. Clients include Digital Health Coalition, Pershing Square Foundation, the Brooklyn Women's Exchange, and Friends of the Greenwich Village High School.

Advised not-for-profit companies regarding alternative revenue streams for their organizations, including Program Related Investments, and provided advice regarding various legal structures, as well as avoiding unrelated business income tax.

Provided outside general counsel services on a variety of matters, including misuse of corporate name, donor restrictions, dissolution of a corporate subsidiary, and review of corporate governance practices. Negotiated with City for retroactive real estate tax exemption and refund.

Created new economic fraud prevention outreach and education program for senior citizens, and conducted presentations in senior centers throughout Brooklyn. Provided free legal advice to pro se litigants in consumer law cases in weekly clinic in Kings County Civil Court.
