After announcing my availability for freelance projects, multiple organisations I had worked with during my career got in touch with opportunities, as well as new organisations. I worked with clients in the following industries: sport, travel, hospitality, HR, and digital marketing. I utilised my experience in operations consultancy, establishing efficient internal processes for start-ups, event/project management, managing logistics and itineraries for the travel & tourism sector, managing recruitment, and more. During this time running my own registered company, I also set up my own website on Wix and managed my own accounting using Xero. In June 2023, after a successful year of freelancing, I decided to re-join the employed world for an incredibly exciting opportunity at Sportsworld.

Utilising the experience gained from working full time at Sporta for over seven years, I returned on a consultancy basis to support the business in the post-pandemic landscape. This includes supporting new staff members, optimising processes, and leading special projects outside the core business offerings.I was also responsible for managing the fixture and staffing logistics for Sporta's ARCH Tournament, a two-week-long event in the UAE for hundreds of people. This included managing a team on the ground and on-site presence in the UAE.

Alongside my MBA and freelance work, I joined the Events & Fundraising team at Eastbourne College on a short-term contract. The College is an institution close to my heart and I was delighted to be part of the school. During my time, I managed a number of events (including a fundraising golf day that raised >£20,000 for bursaries) and co-managed the implementation of a new website. I especially enjoyed running networking events, as this utilised my personable skills and I got a buzz out of bringing people together. I organised the school's inaugural sports industry networking event; this was attended by 40 alumni, many of whom now have prominent positions in sport.

Dynamic Events organise international conferences and events for multinational firms, charities, and business networks. By utilising my alumni contacts, I was able to offer my colleagues 6-months of free 1-2-1 business coaching from Henley Business School coaches.Due to the impact of the pandemic on my previous role, I joined this company to challenge myself in a new industry. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right fit for me, so I moved onto new opportunities by starting my own business. During this time, I also worked on my MBA dissertation which focused on flexible working.
