At Vela VKE Consulting Engineers, I have been involved in a number of projects that have been centered around Asset Management. I have gained many skills in project management, time management, report writing as well as GIS applications. I have also improved the quality of my own standards of work produced.

During my time at CBRE, I assisted in setting up a G.I.S as well as obtaining data for the purpose of producing Municipal Property Valuation Rolls for a number of municipalities across South Africa. This involved the merging of data collected by property valuers with GIS cadastral shapefiles. I also conducted GIS training of staff members within our various branches.

Obtaining raw GIS data from surveyors. Conversion of raw GIS data into a readable and usable format. Editing of GIS data, overlayed with aerial photography. Geodatabase management and maintenance. Production and maintenance of Maps as per clients request.
