Conducted data oriented strategic analysis of company's markets, competitive positioning, financial structure, then developed comprehensive turnaround plan including asset and business unit sale, marketing automation, sales optimization and financial recapitalization. Led execution of plan to restructure company with a single market focus, revitalized sales and marketing, implement new technologies and establish a stable capital structure. Performance of the new plan led to superior sales and financial returns, leading to the sale of the company to a private equity firm seeking to vertical integrate the company into their portfolio of companies. The resulting sale delivered a 170% return on company stock to employee shareholders compared to the price when I joined company 36 months earlier.Following the select asset sale, as ESOP Trustee, I continued to operate and market the remaining assets until such time as they were sold. Upon completion of final asset sale, I managed and coordinated the wind-down of the ESOP, including financial audits, regulatory filings and final distribution of funds to shareholders.
