Primary HR support for several corporate groups: Finance, Communications, Marketing, Legal, Human Resources, Public Policy, HRB Tax Institute and the HRB Bank. Provide HR guidance to senior levels of management within assigned client groups including performance management, leadership and employee development, compensation, succession planning, staffing and department reorganizations. Conduct all necessary HR investigations into employee misconduct. These investigations have ranged from sexual harassment to inappropriate use of company funds and property. Partner with in-house employment attorneys to efficiently resolve all issues and to minimize the potential of future litigation.Collaborate with other members of the HR management team in the planning and strategizing of projects, policies and systems that impact the overall Company.Recently led a cross-functional project team which reviewed and rewrote the company policies addressing Short Term Disability and associated Leave programs. The new policies have been very well received and are a great example of how Human Resources can facilitate programs which meet both the needs of the business and of employees.Guided assigned client groups through a significant reduction in force. Manage a team of thirteen (Disability Management Group) who handled all Short Term Disability and FMLA claims for entire employee population of Sprint, 60,000+. This group also handled processing of Long Term Disability claims. Counsel HR Managers across the company on all aspects of Attendance Management and Legal ramifications of adverse employment actions associated with Leaves of Absence.Coordinate interactions between the Disability Management Group and several other departments within Sprint such as Legal, Corp Employee Relations, Payroll and Records.Provide constructive and candid feedback to all direct reports via performance management program.Provide training as a subject matter expert in several areas including FMLA, Short Term Disability Benefits, Attendance Management and multiple other state specific Disability regulations.

Provide counsel and recommendation in all areas of employee relations, such as performance management, corrective action, involuntary terminations, HR investigations, ADA, FMLA, realignments and HR policy interpretation. Served as primary HR support for several different client groups: Legal, Government Relations, Corporate Security, Corporate Communications and Human Resources.Have facilitated several reductions in force including those at an Executive level.Provide training as a subject matter expert in several areas including Staffing, Ending Employment, Diversity, Workplace Violence, Substance Abuse and Corrective Action.
