Reducing the mass, volume and power of a flight computer for cubesat, nanosat, and smallsat platforms.Subcontracts include: Interface and Control Systems – satellite control systems, field commander interface to directly task space assets, STK and Scheduler for the TacSat II AFRL satellite. Analytical Graphics – product regression testing harness, enhance on-orbit collision avoidance determination.

Integrating a new Ruby plugin into existing 3rd party software for the purpose of simplifying user interaction and connecting to primary product's API. Managed the student run design teams on three satellite projects (Three Corner Satellite, Citizen Explorer, DINO). Trained the team leads on how to manage their team, how to plan out a schedule to meet milestones, and how to motivate team members in accomplishing their tasks. Main area of responsibility was overseeing the development of the autonomous spacecraft models for each mission. Developed an intersatellite communication protocol and a simulator to test it. Used SCL to monitor all the spacecraft's sensors, perform actions to safeguard the satellite when values are outside the nominal sensor ranges, and replan mission objectives when resources did not allow the activity to proceed. Automated the ground controller functions by integrating SCL and STK. The Virtual Mission Operations Control Center allows commands from anywhere in the world to be included in the satellite's schedule. Guest speaker at several university-level classes and helped to organize several symposia.
