I am an indirect tax/technology partner in the State and Local Tax practice at KPMG LLP. I'm based in our Silicon Valley office in Santa Clara, California. My roles at KPMG included National Partner-in-Charge of the Indirect Tax Technology practice and Lead Partner for KPMG’s indirect tax alliance with Thomson Reuters.My focus at KPMG is on global indirect tax technology, helping to create and deliver solutions to our North American and global clients in conjunction with our global network of indirect tax and technology professionals and our global indirect tax technology partners.I am a member of our global Indirect Tax Process and Technology leadership team, and in this role I work closely with our global network and the US-based Transaction Tax Systems practice to foster the deployment of technology to help our clients handle their North American and global indirect tax needs and requirements. We deploy global indirect technology created by our partners - Thomson Reuters/Sabrix, Vertex, Taxware and others - and we help our clients make the most of the tax functionality in their core business systems, particularly SAP and Oracle.
