Greetings from the Pacific Northwest.I am a west coast native with strong roots in Oregon. I love our section of the country, including the rain, beavers, ducks, Sasquatch's, and snow-capped mountains.I truly am a life-long learner. After working in HIV clinical research and education for many years, I decided to up my game and pursue pharmacy. I wanted to be a clinician and pharmacy's combination of the sciences, collaboration with many types of healthcare providers, and significant opportunities to help patients got me hooked. I received my PharmD in 2019 and completed a PGY1 residency in 2020. I have loved and thrived during my experiences so far and am now ready to take the next leap into a fulfilling job.One of my most important criteria for a job position is that it involves meaningful work. I've tried to practice this philosophy my entire life and especially internalized this attitude during my years of non-profit organization service. I am proud of my contribution to efforts to find effective treatments for HIV, make those emerging therapies more accessible to patients, and increase HIV-provider care capacity for underserved and marginalized populations. This history naturally led me to pharmacy.Now, I look forward to bringing my passion, commitment and experience as a healthcare provider, organizer, and advocate to my next role.
