QUALIFICATIONS PROFILEConsummate Sr. Scientist with expertise in pharmacology, biology, toxicology, and pharmaceutical research currently seeking an opportunity to blend talents, skills, and experience to pursue a career in Pharmaceutical Research.> In Vivo Pharmacology/Pharmacy• Plan and conduct in vivo pharmacology studies, data analysis and reporting.• Expert in various disease models: Glaucoma, Diabetes and Oncology (Angiogenesis).• Experienced user of OCT and other imaging tools.• Extensive experience in drug formulation and animal dosing: Oral dosing, subcutaneous, intraperitoneal, and intravenous administration of test compounds.• Experience and skills in various surgical procedures in animal: Gas and injectable anesthesia, brain cannulation, surgeries within the liver and peritoneal cavity.• Design and write new study protocols/models and implement the screening of potential therapeutics.• Extensive experience in ocular drug delivery and distribution including Topical Administration with basic training in IVT injections, sub-Tenon injections and sub-Conj injections. • Nine years of experience in handling laboratory animals including rodents, rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Cats and other species.• Full knowledge of key software like Spotfire, BioBook, R, sigma plot and many more.> Management of research Laboratory• Coordinated schedules of activities among programs that share the Students Skills Laboratory.• Maintained inventory of equipment and supplies; oversaw maintenance and repair of equipment.> Personality: Effective in time management; capable of responding to changing priorities and meeting deadlines; enthusiastic; eager to learn.
