Syafiq is an Ocean Engineering Student hailing from ITS, Surabaya minoring in Structural Integrity. He has several multidisciplinary experiences in Model UNs, ORDCs, Leadership Programs, and IISMA.His true passion is to lead Indonesia with a grassroot-approach because in his eyes, understand that GDP is not the parameter of a country’s success; and a nation like Indonesia is one of the toughest to govern.His multiple experiences as a Chairperson in national and international MUNs had sharpened his academic writing skills, overall vigilance, conscientiousness, and leadership—seeing that it takes a lot to lead a council filled with ambitious, smart, and fiery individuals.As a result of his multiple essay-writing in his MUN Study Guides, he is well versed in current issues such as Green Finance, World Trade, Security, Supply Chain, Maritime, and more. He is a jack-of-all trades, yet his passion still lies in unlocking Indonesia’s maritime potential. Currently, his main focus is developing @immuneyouth.id ; and is looking into a Master’s at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) for Deep-Sea Exploration and Exploitation—Seeing the vast amount of metals required for a Renewable Energy transition.
