Successful monitoring of execution of 132kV Substations in the Northern Emirates of UAE

Reporting to the Operations DirectorEnsuring the timely completion of projects within the specific budget and TQM needs, living GE’s core values of HSE & OHAS requirement, advising the cash flow, margin and profit, ensuring return of experience (ROE), updating the ROR (Risks and Opportunity Register), implementing the organizational goals as per the Integrated Management System (IMS) in addition to PMO requirements of executing projects as per internal procedures, Initiate Gate Reviews at Critical Junctures, Virtual interaction with key inter-departments of the organization, client and consultant, contractor. Providing key inputs to Project scheduling, building a team of high caliber deliverables. Analyzing the lessons learned for continuous improvement actions. Leadership role in conducting regularly Project Reviews for multiple projects. Play key role in problem solving and negotiations. Negate resistance de change and Sorting closing out issues in an effective manner. Interfacing with utility and consultant for interconnections, approvals, payments, resolving key issues, conceptualizing strategies and goals etc. Delivering projects meeting defined specifications, schedule and budget involving supply, design, installation of 400 & 132kV GIS and AIS substations ($320M) for DEWA and Northern Iraq . Establish a routine in the project sites with POD, ensure focus on different aspects of scheduled works through constant communication flow between sites, necessary stakeholders.Involvement in the Supply Chain and Logistics Operations of major equipments. Leading implementation of continuous improvements by analyzing the lessons learned for the entire portfolio of projects based on GE policies, guidelines.Achievements:Special Appreciation received for improving the profit margin of several key projects, obtaining release of backlog BG's, TOC's, DLCC's, Critical payments and documents.Played an integral part of the team for GIS USERS Global conference in Dubai.

Have been instrumental in carrying out operations in Controlling the electrical distribution network both at Transmission and Distribution end.Maintenance and erection of transformer.Erection of 110 kV towers, 11 kV poles, stringing of 110 kV, 11kV lines and 11kV aerial bunched conductors, cable ending and jointing, preparation of estimates for installation and erection of transformers and 11 kV lines.

 Provided assistance in MS Fabrication and maintenance of High Vacuum equipments. Involved in the erection of Mild steel structures and inspection and quality control checks of the equipment.
