During my internship at one of the UAE's largest cigarette manufacturing plants, I had the opportunity to:- Shadow technicians, industrial engineers, and electrical engineers to gain insights into the operations of various manufacturing machines.- Collaborate with the industrial engineering team to develop and implement an alternative assembly line structure aimed at addressing machine failures. This involved performing welding and machining tasks to adapt spare assembly line components to the new design solution.- Conduct maintenance and repair tasks during production downtime, using basic hand tools to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the assembly line.
