About Syarra Goldstein
During my childhood I had an inspiring opportunity to travel and see countries across the world. For my senior year of high school I was a participant with the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Abroad scholarship program through the US State Department in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I found a passion for finding solutions to global issues to improve the quality of life for people here and across the world. I am studying as a triple major at Syracuse University and I am looking for opportunities to explore the diverse field of international relations. I am conversationally fluent in Spanish and Bosnian, speak a little French, and am actively learning Arabic. I am very experienced in cross cultural communication and cultural understanding and through Speech and Debate and Model United Nations, and I am well versed in Public Speech. I have interned in the field in Refugee Resettlement previously with the Northern Nevada International Center and I am very flexible and learn new things quickly.
