Rotated into 3 roles:1) PCB Layout Design Engineer· Designed the board layout designs that meet customer requirements, PCB design guidelines,& DFX requirements using PCB layout tools (Altium Designer & Cadence Allegro).· Communicated, collaborated and engaged with customers and other functional teams (Hardware, Mechanical, EDA, DFX) to apply PCB design knowledge and solve issues through component placement and routing.· Prepared several deliverable packages (Fabrication and assembly drawings, Generate Bill of materials (BOM) Gerber and ODB++ generation, test reports).· Undergone the sanity check for Design For Assembly (DFA) of the board designed and generated the ODB++ files and Gerber files using Valor.· Utilized on PCB Design checklist during project execution to ensure the board is following IPC standards and customer’s request.2) Hardware Design Engineer (Digital) · Experienced on using most general-purpose lab equipment (Power Supply, Oscilloscope, Multimeter) for troubleshooting boards.· Executed test verifications for product design and documentations using JAMA.· Prepared the alternative parts report for obsolete parts for existing board using Silicon Export.· Have understanding and training on the good design practices to implement power busses and low-speed design boards.3) Product Engineer (Design Assurance) · Carried out RoHS, REACH and RSL compliance analysis report for customer.· Processed the Engineering change order (ECOs) release in Agile system.· Scrubbed BOM and BOM checking using BOMCHECK website.
