Legal Program Coordinator
Current•Prepare division budget and supporting documentation and make recommendations regardingrevisions. Monitor the budget throughout the year and prepare amendments as necessary. Reviewand approve budgeted expenditures. Serve as contact for Finance on general inquiries.•Work with the Legal Assistance Fund (LAF) coordinator to prepare and maintain meeting materials and records. Attend LAF meetings and oversee the preparation of minutes for all meetings. Monitor and track board approved case expenditures and prepare reports for presentation to the LAF Board. Oversee the preparation of LAF marketing materials, the LAF service agreement, and the annual service fee recommendation for presentation to the LAF Board.•Participate in planning Council of School Attorneys (CSA) seminars and annual business meeting. Maintain CSA financial records and prepare reports for distribution at the annual business meeting. Manage CSA membership billing/renewals and all membership benefits. Coordinate membership with national school attorney group, as necessary.•Manage billing, contract services, data processing, printing, and distribution for Legal Services, LAF,and CSA memberships and subscriptions. Coordinate related marketing materials, including onlinemarketing and promotional brochures.•Assist in planning Convention programs and legal seminars, including marketing, presentationmaterials, coordination with speakers, and facilities/locations with TASB staff. Attend and overseeadministrative support at the TASB annual Convention, LAF Board meetings, CSA meetings, and othermeetings and workshops as necessary. In-state travel is required.•Manage, review, and streamline, the division’s processes and systems through automated processesin the association database (AMS), which includes managing and reviewing processes, andparticipating in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new and updatedautomated processes for managing memberships and subscriptions.
