Germany

Program management for Project Reconnect, an initiative funded by Google.org providing 25,000 Chromebooks to organizations working with refugees in Germany. The project aims to help refugees as they strive to rebuild their lives, by facilitating access to education and information resources on the web.

Haiti, USA

• Drove cross-group effort to develop global education strategy for Inveneo.
• Coordinated development of education solutions with engineering team.
• Managed Intel Foundation grant "Digital Literacy for Haiti Rebuilding", an initiative providing computer training to more than 1,000 community members in rural Haiti and training 50 local instructors.

Haiti

• Responsible for 1 M budget and six person team and more than 35 contractors to deliver on Inveneo’s Clinton Global Initiative commitments:
• Planned and implemented Haiti Connected Schools program deploying 40 solar-powered computer labs and training more than 400 teachers in rural Haiti on basic computer skills.
• Managed Inveneo's Haiti Connected Cities program including the deployment of a reliable broadband network and computing technology to rural clients in five regions of Haiti.
• Deepened relationships with funders and stakeholders, such as Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund, Microsoft, Google, World Vision, HP, SELF and Voila Foundation
• Coordinated capacity building with and for local partners and transitioned responsibilities for long-term management to local partners. The program is now completely run by Haitians.

• Managed assessments and recommendations for Cisco for connectivity projects with schools and youth centers in Palestine
• Managed grant proposal and project implementation with teacher colleges in Malawi.
• Coordinated with Intel to establish Inveneo as an Intel Learning Alliance member.

Redmond, WA

• Managed design and implementation of NetHope Academy website www.nethopeacademy.org.
• Lead needs assessment for a Learning Management System and for skills assessment tools for NetHope Academy
• Implemented LMS and skills assessments and built capacity within team on new publishing tools and process.

· Managed solution development and deployment for pilots with more than 7,000 laptops in schools in LATAM and Africa.· Developed solution blueprint for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for Community Technology Access Centers in refugee camps. Deployed centers in Rwanda and Bangladesh. · Researched market opportunity, scenarios and requirements.

• Managed market research and defined product plan for MSN Direct watch and services in North America and Europe. Identified new content partners and managed relationship with partners.
• Evaluated new form factors, identified market potential and drove product requirements, resulting in Watch 2.0 content strategy and feature list.

Nominated as one of five Microsoft Loaned Executives to United Way. Defined and implemented key strategies to reach participation and fundraising goals in the Microsoft Giving Campaign.
