My general interest is space technology with focus on electronics, operations and systems engineering.From primary school I have been interested in electronics, after the Intermediate Technical School and the first year of the Institute of Technology I needed a challenge in my life and switched to Delft University, Aerospace Engineering.After my studies I started to work at Dutch Space B.V., now Airbus Defence & Space in Leiden. Here I worked on high quality and reliability space products, instruments and innovative products. I was posted one year at the Solar Array centre at Airbus Defence and Space in Ottobrunn, Germany to support the Bepi Colombo and Solar Orbiter Solar Array Engineering teams. After coming back to Leiden I was involved in operations engineering of the TROPOMI instrument of ESA's Sentinel 5p mission launched October 13th 2017. In the EGSE / SCOE department I was Systems Engineer on a scatterometer instrument EGSE. In 2018 I started working on the innovative Earth observation instrument SPEXone in the role of Operations Engineer applying the knowledge gained on S5p and gain experiences with new challenges. SPEXone will fly on-board the NASA PACE satellite.In June 2020 I started at the Netherland Aerospace Centre - NLR in Amsterdam. Here I focus on innovative and advanced space avionics with my (in-orbit) space systems experiences. Specialties: Space Technology, Electronics-, Operations-, Systems Engineering
