I am an enthusiastic and dedicated aspiring educator with a background in student ministry, committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. I am experienced in mentoring and guiding young people, fostering strong relationships built on trust and respect. I am passionate about integrating values-based education with academic learning to inspire personal growth and a lifelong love of learning. Growing up in Newnan, I discovered a deep love for history—my favorite subject throughout middle and high school. This passion guided me to major in history in college and has shaped my aspiration to bring the past to life in the classroom, helping students understand the world and their place in it.Currently, I serve as a 7th Grade Discipleship Group Leader at Watkinsville First Baptist Church, where I lead with a heart for hospitality and mentorship. My professional journey has also included enhancing hospitality programs, managing events, and leading teams. These experiences have refined my leadership style, which prioritizes servant leadership by focusing on the needs of others and fostering collaboration.My goal is to become a history teacher within the next year. Driven by values of stewardship and discipline, I aim to create classrooms that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful connections to the world around us. I want my students to develop skills that will not only enhance their academic journeys but also leave a lasting impact on their futures.Outside of my professional life, I enjoy exploring creative outlets like crafting, discovering the outdoors, and spending quality time with friends and family. My favorite place I have ever hiked was Cloudland Canyon. As I prepare for the future, I look forward to deepening my skills in cooking, gardening, and creating a home that reflects love, joy, and purpose.
