As a Student Manager, I oversee up to ten other students at a time, delegating tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction. I also load and drive the company van to events on and off campus.

As a dining room busser at a high-end Italian restaurant, I greeted tables with water, warm bread and an olive oil platter, each prepared by me. I also cleared tables, refilled water, and managed customer relations throughout their dining experience, all with a positive, hard-working attitude.When working as a hostess, I always met customers with a smile on my face as soon as they walked through the door and as I guided them to their table. I balanced seating customers, taking down orders over the phone, managing the register and money exchanges for to-go orders, and keeping the bar area clean. I learned how to quickly calculate change, close out the register at the end of shifts, socialize with affluent members of my community, multitask, and keep an organized workstation, with a happy air about me all the while.

I worked with students from all different backgrounds ranging from ages four to 81, instructing them on how to improve their tennis skills. I created lesson plans, provided first aid when necessary, came up with new strategies on the fly, and over six weeks was able to take my student’s tennis games to the next level.
